Abstract

SANTOS, Lúcia Grossi dos  and  FERRARI, Ilka Franco. Psychoanalysis applied to University clinic’s treatment and the Psychoanalytic Center of Consultation and Treatment of Minas Gerais’ experience. Psicol. rev. (Belo Horizonte) [online]. 2016, vol.22, n.1, pp. 202-222. ISSN 1677-1168.  http://dx.doi.org/DOI-10.5752/P.1678-9523.2016V22N1P202.

This paper is part of a postdoctoral research conducted in the Psychology Postgraduate Program of Pontífica Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (Brazil) in 2014, concerning psychoanalysis application in University clinics. We concentrate on the material collected in interviews with psychoanalytic clinics’ supervisors in two university clinics located in Belo Horizonte: PUC Minas and Fumec. The questions revolved around the psychoanalytic clinical specificity at the university regarding, especially, matters such as time and money. Some of the interviewed teachers participated, as psychoanalysts, in the CPCT’s (Psychoanalytic Center of Consultation and Treatment) experience, which offered free treatment for a fixed period. Therefore, we wonder if this experience has contributed in any way to these professional’s formation as psychoanalysts and supervisors
