Abstract

BALTAZAR, Tiago Hercílio. "PSI" knowledge in Foucault’s history of madness diagnosis. Psicol. rev. (Belo Horizonte) [online]. 2017, vol.23, n.3, pp. 860-881. ISSN 1677-1168.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5752/P.1678-9563.2017v23n3p860-881.

We investigate the first archaeology elaborated by Foucault, history of madness, where we can find theoretical expedients mobilized for an historical philosophical problematization of the modern "psi" knowledge. This work elaborates an extra scientific perspective of knowledges such as psychology, psychiatry and psychoanalysis, where they emerge structured on an "anthropologcal postulate" which, according to the foucauldianphylosophical diagnosis, imposes to them limits and points at their exhaustion in contemporaneity. We will proceed on a careful reading of some concepts and cuttings made by the archaeologist, aiming at the explicitation of the problematization plan, its main operations and how the strategies used are articulated to compose the mentioned diagnosis of the present.

Keywords : Diagnosis of the present.; Michelfoucault; Archaeology of "psi" knowledge.
