MATOS, Mariana  e  LAMPREIA, Carolina. Intersubjectivity in psychoanalysis: surrounding the solipsistic issue or breaking up with modern thinking? . Psicol. rev. (Belo Horizonte) [online]. 2018, vol.24, n.1, pp. 60-78. ISSN 1677-1168.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5752/P.1678-9563.2018v24n1p60-78.

The dimension of intersubjectivity as a constituent of subjectivity can be considered a recent acquisition of psychoanalytic theory, becoming a theoretical possibility to surround the modern solipsism. In the philosophical field, the Cartesian matter led to the development of the study of language in two basic directions, resulting in two dominant opposing conceptions of language in contemporary times: the objectivist/representational and the constructivist/pragmatic. In this article, the target was to discuss the concept of intersubjectivity as it has been used by psychoanalysis, discussing the uses and ideologies underlying the concept according to these two philosophical conceptions of language, through a theoretical study. We conclude that the use of the concept of intersubjectivity in psychoanalysis seems to be more useful to surround the solipsistic matter rather than break up with modern thinking.
