This article brings into debate the importance of the group device in the production of data from the research "Basic education and family: reproductions and inventions in the Belo Horizonte Integrated School Program", which means to know the relationships established by coordinators and students in teacher training in the workshops. Actually, It is a teacher training program implemented and maintained by the Belo Horizonte City Hall, based on the expansion of the school day extension, with university students from different areas of knowledge. The study applies the researchintervention methodology and the ideas of Deleuze and Guattari as a theoretical framework, interrelated with Bourdieu’s ideas. Based on the discussions of the school territory, regarding the relationship with the family and violence, the group appears here as resistance, as a device that favors the emergence of the collective in the creation of inventive processes of subjectivation.
