The aim of this work is to present the SPAGESP’s course of formation of group therapists and group coordinators. It starts by comparing music to groups inside the human history.  Next, it shows something about the course of formation and SPAGESP’s clinic. It finishes showing the syncretic sociability in the institutions and shows the ideology of the course, how it works in the teaching-learning process and its insertion in the SPAGESP institution.
