Abstract

EMILIO, Solange Aparecida. The school as a group and the groups in the school. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2004, vol.5, n.5, pp. 24-28. ISSN 1677-2970.

The school can be seen as a privileged space for the occurrence of group phenomena. However, the readings and interventions carried out do not usually consider group aspects, either in the school as a great group or in the diverse groups that it holds. That probably occurs in function of the lack of preparation of the school agents for the perception and consequence intervention on the group phenomena, since the study of groups is not part of the graduation of teachers and the coordination staff. The author, as a grouptherapist and researcher of the school context, considers some reflections concerning the question so that the possibility of changing this situation can be thought.

Keywords : Groups; Education; Groups in the school.
