Abstract

FIGUEIREDO, Marco Antonio de Castro. Psychosocial support to homecare for persons with hiv/aids.: A study based on the triad pacient/profesional/relatives. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2004, vol.5, n.5, pp. 62-66. ISSN 1677-2970.

This paper synthesizes results obtained with people that live, take care and work with HIV/Aids, regarding support to homecare. Content analysis identified: in patients, reintegration, familiar acquaintance and stigma management; in caregivers, patient’s affective claims and disaggregated effects on family; in professionals, superation of technical limits and the way to face the therapeutical relationships. These results suggest integrated practice considering: for professional, socialization of informal practice; for caregives, background about affective requirements of caring and for patients, elements to overcome losses and subjective appropriation of coping.(CNPq)
