Abstract

FERNANDES, Waldemar José. Ill will and the possibilities of mental growth from the strengthening of linkings of affection. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2007, vol.8, n.2, pp. 00-00. ISSN 1677-2970.

This paper reflects on good will in contrast with ill will. The theme is examined from the conception of linking as an internal and external structure of relationship, in which an emotional experience prevails, considering the intra, inter and transubjective spaces of the linking. Frequently ill will occurs related to the diversity of opinion or between people intrinsically diverse. A great deal of misunderstandings between couples and varied groups of people has to do with this theme, which is examined bearing in mind cultural, group, interpersonal or private point of view. Aspects of the poisoning caused by the sadomasochism system, which is strengthened by resentment and sorrow, are approached in this study. The conclusion shows that it is necessary to have a certain level of altruism while dealing with other people, that some friendly approximation should prevail over resentment and that one can live with the frustration inherent having a good measure of good will. From the sociocultural point of view, the assumption that the personal growth depends on loving feelings is contrastive, as shown in recent journalistic article.

Keywords : Linking; Good will; Ill will; Sadomasochism; Resentment; Altruism.
