The present article offers the discussion about the inclusion of the student that is benefited by the “ProUni” - program created by the Federal Government in 2004, that has the intention to eliminate the diverse and historically accumulated existing inequalities, trying to guarantee the equality and to compensate the losses caused by the segregation. Usually, the discussions related to the inclusion are linked to students with special educational needs, however, in this work, the inclusion is seen in a wider way, that considers the actual participation people in Education. We were based on a study case of a student that wasl benefited bu the ProUni in the city of São Paulo and found out, as main results: the existence of little space, inside the university, for the reflection concerning the program; the denial of the segregation and the prejudice; the peer identification; and the emphasis in the personal effort. The segregation exists, even if it is denied, amongst the paying students and the scholarship holders. The exclusion logic is kept underneath the inclusion veil.
