Abstract

This article talks about the possibilities of articulations between psychoanalysis and aging. First of all it is necessary to tell the difference between the aging concept and the aging that presents senses with articulate but deserve to be seen regarding its conceptual unique for the psychoanalysis techniques development for people over 65. From this concept it can be thought of studying and working with aging in its psychodynamics aspects which are connected to the resistance, transfer and Counter-transference occurrence and the human development aspects. Understanding and working with aging based on psychoanalysis required constant care regarding such occurrence related to psychodynamic perspectives, which take us to reflect about the social representation that aging presents, allowing us to take a closer look at aging. The group mechanism was essential in order to think about these issues.
