Resumen

VAISBERG, Tânia Maria José Aiello. Subjectivity and otherness: considerations on the theoretical basis of group psychotherapy from a Winnicottian perspective. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2009, vol.10, n.1, pp. 26-33. ISSN 1677-2970.

This article aims to discuss how treatment group of psychotic patients can be possible when an intersubjective theoretical point of view is adopted, in the place of Freudian speculative thought. So, we can realize that there is an intimate link between the constitution of the self, in an individual level, and human nature, which assumes, in an ontological plan, a co-existential essence. Existential suffering related to initial processes of emotional maturation demand a new point of view, assuming that the cure corresponds to an overcome of dissociations and to an increasing of personal integration. When this condition is achieved, the individual can feel alive, real, spontaneous and capable to change himself and the world, being a person among others.
