Resumen

CAMPOS, Dinael Corrêa de. The action by trainees in Work Psychology with groups. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2009, vol.10, n.1, pp. 53-59. ISSN 1677-2970.

The present article relates the grasp of group experiences by trainees in the field of Work and Organizational Psychology (also known as I-O Psychology or IOP), in which they developed projects committed with re-thinking about the relationship between man and the world of work, people in and from the organization, keeping the classical action on recruiting-screening-training at bay. Acting in Work Psychology (is) the emerging challenge. Trainees are told to come up with a characterization of the training site (which many insist on naming diagnosis), so that they can propose actions/projects that shape their training programs. Actions are related taken by the groups on “project mothers”, giving voice to janitors, car washers and municipal guards. The training on IOP aims to enable the grasp of group experience which can assure, within the workplace, the psychological reality of employees and the suffering they might be subject to. The action taken by IOP when implementing strategies so as to create better organizations and communities, go through the work of a group or the work in a group. The action by trainees in/with groups may be the beginning of new engaged practices on the everyday of working people.
