Abstract

VOLPE, Altivir João. Photographs and narratives: the presence-absence, images in action. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2009, vol.10, n.2, pp. 11-18. ISSN 1677-2970.

Photographs, narratives and groups compose potential spaces of the transient sharing of the present, of the ambiguities, and the uncertainties of the pace between crisis and overcoming. The contemporary panorama is characterized by a lack of social links, by a “no-places” intensification, and by the intermediate formations rupture. These premises become necessary to the development of other different settings, for example, the use of expressive mediators as music, painting, photography, narrative, daily objects. Some of these different settings have been used with groups and institutions; and they conceive an opening to the collective memory. This contributes to the intense work that is part of the human devenir. A human devenir which is developed between the reference loss continuous risk and the search of these places of holdings.

Keywords : Group; Photographs; Picture; Setting; Psychoanalysis.
