Abstract

PAIVA, Maria Lucia de Souza Campos. Interfaces in the constitution of marital bonds. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2009, vol.10, n.2, pp. 50-55. ISSN 1677-2970.

Currently, it is not possible to think in terms of one single type of marriage or family. It is not possible either to predict how long marital bonds last, seeing that we live in a society where many love ties have a more fluid and passing nature. Many couples have difficulty in establishing not only a common project as a couple but also conjugality itself. The purpose of this study is to reflect upon the constitution of marital bonds. René Kaës’ theory is the perspective through which this study examines the weft of marital bonds. Part of a study on the influence of the psychic transmission in the constitution of marital bonds is shown in order to illustrate the connection between transubjectivity and intersubjectivity. At last, we emphasize the fact that transgenerational psychic inheritance plays a decisive role in the constitution of marital bonds and it makes difficult the establishment of a conjugal and family identity.

Keywords : Psychic transmission between generations; Linkings; René Kaës.
