Abstract

ALVES, Carolina Martins Pereira et al. Formation in Psychology: the graduation students' experience in a group performance with educators. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2010, vol.11, n.1, pp. 25-35. ISSN 1677-2970.

This study reports the experience of Psychology undergraduate students involved in a college practical project, aiming to understand how their work in this context echoed in those students' formation. The student’s project discussed the aggressiveness in the early childhood with groups of professionals from child education. Training groups with professors were proposed. After the training groups, reflection groups were coordinated by the students. The students' reports were analyzed after the participation in those groups, highlighting the repercussion of that practice for the professional formation. In general, the students mentioned that the experience of coordinating groups with the educators put them closer to the reality in the schools and their contemporary challenges, and also contributed to a better understanding about the professionals practice. That opened possibilities to signify the group space as important resource for the psychologist’s education, since the listening capacity was considered a positive factor to the educators and for the undergraduate students.
