Abstract

This theoretical study intends to discuss the contemporary statute of parenthood from the existing relation between incest prohibition and the increasing recognition of satisfaction as the foundation for family formation nowadays. We understand this statute to becom prised by different forms of exercising childcare, which are marked both by a strong historical tradition and by contemporary updates and demands. We seek to clarify the way kinship was established throughout family transformations, using incest prohibition as a study guideline. We examine different forms of parenthood in contemporary families, which includes several family settings stating that intimate and sexual satisfactions determine the duration and stability of bonds.
