Abstract

DE TILIO, Rafael; VIDOTTO, Letícia Trombini  and  GALEGO, Pâmela Suelen. Drug users homeless fears and expectations. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2015, vol.16, n.2, pp. 75-87. ISSN 1677-2970.

For people on the streets, psychoactive drugs emerge in addition to social vulnerability. Thus, seven reports were collected in a documentary about the lives of people on the streets who abuse drugs in a city of the Triângulo Mineiro region (Brazil), aimed at identifying their main fears and expectations. Data were analyzed using the technique of the Collective Subject Discourse. The main fear is losing touch with family and the main expectation was that one day they would be able to "leave this life" (homeless and drugs) with the help of the CR. It is highlighted the importance to know this population's demands in order to better implement multidisciplinary actions in healthcare.

Keywords : drug abuse; health promotion; social exclusion.
