Abstract

This article presents an experience report of a university extension project conducted through a partnership between the Psychology undergraduate course and the Specialized Police for Assistance to Women (DEAM) within the state of Goiás. Thus, it aims to discuss the psychological practices in that institution. Guidelines and reception are offered in psychological duty mode, to people in situations of violence. Although most patients were adult women who have experienced domestic violence, it was found high incidence of children victims of sexual violence, perpetrated both by relatives or affectively close people. The project has been an effective space to promote people's rights in the context of violence and vocational training locus for students.
