Abstract

NUNES, Mykaella Cristina Antunes  and  MORAIS, Normanda Araujo de. The research with victims of sexual violence that fulfilled: ethical considerations since resolution n. 510/2016. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2017, vol.18, n.2, pp. 129-142. ISSN 1677-2970.

The purpose of the study was to describe the ethical procedures adopted in the research with women who became pregnant due to rape that are still consistent with Resolution No. 510/2016 of the National Health Council, as well as to show what specificities this new resolution brings to this type of research. The methodological strategies used to mitigate the risks and benefits to the participants exceeded the use of the Free and Informed Consent Form, as a necessary ethical procedure. In surveys of women who were victims of VS and who became pregnant, the exclusivity of the written record in the form of the term was an obstacle. Thus, the adequacy proposed by Resolution 510/2016 to make it easier to register participant's consent or assent may make a significant contribution, without constraints to the victims.

Keywords : sexual violence; pregnancy; ethical proceedings.
