Abstract

ORTOLAN, Maria Lúcia Mantovanelli; LIMA, Amanda Lottermann de; MAIRENO, Daniel Polimeni  and  SEI, Maíra Bonafé. Dynamic groups with children and the therapeutic effects of play. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2018, vol.19, n.2, pp. 23-33. ISSN 1677-2970.

The dynamic groups are offered in the Psychological Clinic of the UEL. They are open to the general public and are organized by age groups. The children's group is directed to children from four to 11 years of age and is characterized by games and activities that propose reflections on themes pertinent to age. It is aimed to report the experience of dynamic children's group demonstrating the importance and therapeutic effect of play in childcare. It is observed that this service could contribute to problematize the spaces of psychological reception to children and presented as an alternative to the demand in the waiting list for individual psychotherapy.

Keywords : group dynamics; group psychotherapy; child psychotherapy; play; school-clinics.
