Abstract

CINTRA, Thais Silva; DORICCI, Giovana Cabral  and  GUANAES-LORENZI, Carla. Relational team dynamics in family health strategy. Rev. SPAGESP [online]. 2019, vol.20, n.1, pp. 24-38. ISSN 1677-2970.

The Family Health Strategy aims to reorganize the Primary Healthcare model in Brazil, and values the interdisciplinary teamwork favoring the integrality of the care. This article aims to understand how health professionals describe the teamwork and, at the same time, aims to illustrate the connection between this meaning and how they act as a team. The corpus was composed by the transcription of fifteen audiotaped discussion groups’ meetings with professionals from three Health Units. The meaning making analysis resulted in the description of three organization modes of teamwork: the teamwork as a joint construction; the team work as a family; the teamwork as a football team. These metaphors highlight the importance of the relational dynamics’ analysis, at which point the team can rethink its performance and enhance interdisciplinarity towards integral care.

Keywords : Family health; Health teams interdisciplinary; Social psychology.
