The article investigated how psychological emergence attendance in a hospital works in the training of students in psychology, in the context of tensions between the biomedical model and pluralistic conceptions of health. As data sources, 48 field diaries were elaborated by psychology trainees, reporting their impressions, experiences and their process of understanding the professional duty, developing a experience report. The analysis was conduct by phenomenological hermeneutics point of view, looking for discuss unveiled and correlated meanings, as well as senses taken by psychological doing. The psychological emergence attendance at the hospital promoted the examination of the usual modes of psychological intervention and considered a more integral approach to care as opposed to the single view, allowing new learning, reflections and proposals of interventions.
