This article is a theoretical essay on the foundations of historical-cultural psychology, child labor and infraction act. Psychological development is understood as the transformation that occurs throughout life, resulting from the external interaction of culture with the biophysiological internal and the subjective constitution is dependent on the objective conditions of life. Reflections from studies with adolescents and young people who comply with socio-educational measures are used. They are child workers which the activities performed are configured as the worst forms, among them the drug trafficking. They were prevented from accessing mediations essential to the development like the scientific concepts. They were alienated from themselves, they are not known as workers, but work configures their subjectivities. They are exploited, imprisoned, but paradoxically attribute to work the materiality for the life project.
