ABSTRACT The pandemic of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) imposed changes in the functioning of health services. This study aims to contribute to the enrichment of psychological practice in response to the health crisis situation, analyzing the implementation of an on-line therapeutic group offered by the psychology team for patients of public outpatient service, from July to December 2020. The group was configured as an effective alternative for offering psychological care and mutual help in the face of crisis, favoring resources for comfort, relief of tension, and maintenance of the support network in times of social distance. The intervention raises reflections about ethical implications, limits, and possibilities of using technologies in care actions and necessary adaptations in group practices for on-line modality.
