In this study, I intend to reflect upon the mother-baby bond and the potential interventions that the multi-professional team can make in the case of the hospitalization of extremely premature babies (babies that are born with a birth weight equal to or less than 1500g/30 weeks of gestation). The interventions made by the team will be very important in regards to the approximation of and contact between the mother and baby, especially at the beginning of the baby’s life, when hospitalized in the ICU.
