Abstract

This article has the intention of showing, through theoretical incursions, the important contribution of neuropsychology in the course of the cerebral disorders. Specifically, in cognitive alterations associated with cerebral stroke and the existent relationship between neuropsychological discoveries and the presence of depression in these patients; thus allowing wider analysis of the need for studies that take into consideration the relationship between the humor and cognitive functioning.
