The article aims to describe the activities done by a Psychologist Resident at the Intra-Hospital Organ Donation and Transplant Tissue Commission (CIHDOTT) of a hospital reference in emergency in the city of Fortaleza / CE. It is an experience report with qualitative descriptive study, it used participant observation as a strategy for data collection. For the analysis of the data obtained in the lived experiences, a descriptive table containing the record of the activities carried out in September 2016 was elaborated. The experience was distributed in four categories in order to promote an approximation between the theory and the lived practical reality. It was concluded that the psychologist, as a member of the CIHDOTT, provides adaptaded grief and provides other professionals a welcoming space for their limitations. In addition to promote the link between team and family, favors communication and minimize conflicts.
