This article associates the family and professional choice. It has as a target to present some contributions of the Familiar Therapy with Systemic approach to the theoretical/practical findings of the Vocational Guidance, correlating some concepts of this psychological approach with the professional choice, such as: rules, borders, homeostasis, system, subsystem, supra-system, family life cycle, differentiation of the self, loyalty, myths and genogram. The review demonstrated the possibilities of the use of this theoretical approach in the praxis of Vocational Guidance.
