This essay discusses entrepreneurship through behavioral lenses, distinguishing it from a formal occupation. It emphasizes that career counselors need to be more attentive to this issue. The theme is very present nowadays, once, besides starting firms, entrepreneurial attitude has been more and more demanded by businesses and corporations, thus being named corporative entrepreneurship or intraentrepreneurship. The concept of entrepreneurship itself was reviewed and is presented as emancipatory alternative, search for freedom and autonomy, refusal of alter determination of professional and personal path, contributing for better comprehension of individuals' behavior, such as risk taking, rare intensity of focus and acting in behalf of a dream. .
