Abstract

SCORSOLINI-COMIN, Fabio; INOCENTE, David Forli  and  MIURA, Irene Kazumi. Evaluation of a corporate training program: In search of organizational change. Rev. bras. orientac. prof [online]. 2012, vol.13, n.1, pp. 75-86. ISSN 1984-7270.

This case study analyzed the results of a training program in public administration for employees of the Bank of Brazil. We conducted focus groups, semi-structured interviews and secondary data analysis to obtain evidence after completion of training, which lasted two years. The Borges-Andrade model MAIS was considered the most suitable to evaluate the training investigated. The program achieved the results expected by the bank, but many of those results were achieved with the context of other organizational actions and so can not be considered as arising solely from the training provided. The need exhites for aligning goals, outcomes and evaluation of each training, thus contributing to better management of training, development and education initiatives of organizations.

Keywords : training; training and development; training evaluation; learning.
