This study sought evidences of validity for the Test of Cubes in the assessment of visuospatial reasoning based on the variables of professional interest and choice of course. A sample of 684 high school or college students, with the ages ranged from 15 to 57 years old (M = 21.03, SD = 5.94) and 50.3% women. The tests used were the Test of Cubes for assessing visuospatial reasoning and the Professional Counseling Scale (PCS). In high school, the correlations were null between the test and all dimensions of PCS. In high education, the difference was statistically significant between the courses frequented, differentiating Psychology and Linguistics with the lowest average scores from the group of Engineering, Life Sciences and Digital Games which had the highest average in the Test of Cubes.
