Abstract

This report presents a workshop program with undergraduate students who were experiencing performance problems or who wanted to improve their own performance, formulated with the purpose of improving study strategies and to provide a space for the discussion of academic difficulties and expectations. The workshops were conducted by psychology graduate students and consisted of five meetings. Participated in the project 23 students from UFSC, mainly from initial stages of undergraduate courses. Results suggest that the initiative is promising, enabling reflections on initial expectations about the course and the experienced reality, teaching-learning experience and study time management. Most students reported feeling more prepared to deal with academic demands after the intervention.
