Abstract

BRAUN, Ana Claudia; VIERHELLER, Brenda  and  OLIVEIRA, Manoela Ziebell de. Work-Family conflict among executives: a systematic review from 2009 until 2014. Rev. bras. orientac. prof [online]. 2016, vol.17, n.1, pp. 19-30. ISSN 1679-3390.

The goal is to present a national and international systematic review from 2009 until 2014, with the theme of work-family conflict among executives. The search was consulted in three indexed bases: PsycNFO, Periódicos CAPES and Scopus. The total number of papers was 13. Among the studied variables, connected with conflict, stand out: gender, organizational structure and management, satisfaction, turnover and leadership. The results point to mainly quantitative articles, American in origin and emphasizing the area of the exact sciences. Still, one realizes the lack of research proposing organizational actions to reduce conflict between work and family. It is suggested that further researches use triangulation of data and contemplate the cultural differences beyond the personal and professional context of executives.

Keywords : conflict; executives; labour; family; literature review.
