Abstract

The aim of the study was to evaluate the self-efficacy characteristics for occupational activities of the X and Y generations, as well as the study of gender and generational differences in self-efficacy. The survey was conducted with 40 employees of an educational institution. A socio demographic questionnaire and self-efficacy scale were applied for occupational activities. It was found a significant difference between the sexes for the Conventional factor, with the highest average for men. The comparison of the X and Y generations found differences in Realistic, Entrepreneur and Conventional factors, with a higher score for Generation X. Additional studies are needed to confirm the results.
