Abstract

RODRIGUES, Helena  and  NASCIMENTO, Inês. Influences of curricular enrichment in vocational development and student participation in schools. Rev. bras. orientac. prof [online]. 2016, vol.17, n.2, pp. 245-256. ISSN 1679-3390.

This article presents the potential of a curriculum enrichment project, ConheSer+, whose objective is vocational development and student participation. The quantitative type research plan, (pre-and post-test), allowed comparing the dimensions associated with vocational development and the participation in school of 96 eighth grade students. The evaluation of the execution of the project has shown that participation in the project has contributed to the strengthening of professional interests, apparently associated with exploratory behavior in some fields of knowledge, as well as a greater participation of the students at the level of the teacher-student relation and affective dimension. These results suggest a reflection on the educational and institutional practices that optimize the effect of the considered dimensions
