LLANES-ORDONEZ, Juan; FIGUERA-GAZO, Pilar e TORRADO-FONSECA, Mercedes. Competencies of access and work performance for graduates in Pedagogy. Rev. bras. orientac. prof [online]. 2017, vol.18, n.2, pp. 209-220. ISSN 1679-3390. http://dx.doi.org/10.26707/1984-7270/2017v18n2p209.
This article analyzes what competencies are necessary in the recruitment and professional practice of graduates in Pedagogy in Catalonia (Spain). A descriptive-comprehensive research with a mixed approach has been carried out. A survey was conducted to 519 graduates and 26 professionals were interviewed. The work concludes the importance of cross-disciplinary skills for both the transition from the university to the labor market, as well as job performance in the workplace. Specifically interpersonal and systemic skills, which help improve relationships with others and adapt to environmental situations. Of the three areas of action (educational, community and business) business professionals point out, to a greater extent, the need for versatility for the 21st century.
