This study aims to present the adaptation and psychometric properties of The Adolescent-Parent Career Congruence Scale for a Brazilian sample. In the first stage, there was the translation, back-translation, analysis of judges, pilot study, new back-translation and revision by the original authors. In the second stage, 292 students from Minas Gerais public and private schools participated, being 61.6% male, with an average age of 15.7 years. The results confirmed the factorial structure of the scale with adequate precision indexes. In addition, evidence of validity in relation to other variables is presented using the Parental Responsibility and Demand Scale. It was verified that the adapted version presents evidences of validity and reliability being suitable for use in the Brazilian context.
