This review presents the book "Life Design: a contemporary paradigm in career and career orientation," launched in 2019 by Editora Vetor and written by Brazilian and Portuguese researchers. The work is composed of eight chapters organized in two parts, theoretical and practical, and its central axis is the career construction model and methods. It is recognized that the book offers a relevant theoretical deepening and different reports of counseling experiences, which allows immersion in this field, understanding the theoretical evolution, the importance, the pertinence and the malleability of the career construction paradigm for Brazilian workers of this contemporary world.
