It is essential that the professional develops skills inherent to the role of clinical supervisor whereas psychotherapy supervision has specific characteristics and functions. The aim of this study is to know the professional's perception about the training of cognitive behavioral therapy supervisors who were practicing for this function. Unstructured interviews were conducted with 10 supervisors in training. IRAMUTEQ software was used for the Descending Hierarchical Classification and the Similarity analyzes which resulted in six classes of meanings, including training, learning, challenges, role change, evolution and supervisor tasks. The results foster a still incipient knowledge and allow reflections on the training of the clinical supervisor.
