BORSA, Juliane Callegaro. Professional training in psychological assessment: Integra(c)tion between teaching, research and extension university programs. Rev. bras. orientac. prof [online]. 2021, vol.22, n.1, pp. 73-83. ISSN 1984-7270.  http://dx.doi.org/10.26707/1984-7270/2021v22n107.

Psychological assessment (PA) is a complex practice that requires ethical rigor and technical and theoretical mastery by psychologists. The present experience report presents a proposal for integration between teaching, research, and extension within the scope of AP in a private Brazilian higher education institution. The relevance of training that articulates theoretical knowledge, obtained in basic disciplines, and training in techniques and procedures applied to the context of clinical psychological assessment is discussed. It also presents the proposal for a professional internship and practical workshops, which allow the dialogue and knowledge of undergraduate and graduate students, expanding their professional skills and bringing them closer to the reality and social demands of the community on around. Finally, it is highlighted that the skills acquired through practical activities expand professional insertion possibilities, bringing the graduates closer to social demands and the job market and establishing a dialogue between the theoretical concepts of real data.
