Abstract

BARROS, Leonardo de Oliveira; CARDOSO, Ana Luísa Costa; REIS, Andreza Nathielly Batista  and  MATOS, Caio Andrade. Positive Psychology in the context of career and work: analysis of national production. Rev. bras. orientac. prof [online]. 2021, vol.22, n.2, pp. 165-177. ISSN 1984-7270.  http://dx.doi.org/10.26707/1984-7270/2021v22n204.

The objective was to carry out an integrative review of the national scientific literature on the dialogues of Positive Psychology (PP) with the context of career and work. Searches took place in national databases. Based on the inclusion criteria (empirical articles published in national journals from 2000 to 2020, with brazilian samples and with explicit application of PP in the fields of career and work), 22 articles were eligible. The results indicated that the applications of PP in career areas are still initial, without studies on the effectiveness of interventions, but covering different professional categories and career stages. The emergence of measurement instruments based on PP constructs developed for use in careers and work was evidenced.

Keywords : vocational guidance; psuhological assessment; labour.
