This work reflects the life of Marilyn Monroe, from the theory of personal maturation proposed by D. W. Winnicott. Based on a theoretical research sustained on bibliographical method, ran up an axis readings in ITIPOA study group. We have chosen to know the history of this actress, supported with the theoretical and clinical ideas that the English psychoanalyst wove about the early development and management of the setting. We have directed our thinking for the environment and for the first relationships, in order to broaden understanding on how to redeem the lost wire to remain. We have conclude that, like Marilyn Monroe, we deal in contemporary clinic with vulnerable people in need of a look and a listen that provide them the discovery that it is possible to live creatively. It adds the relevance of developing studies like this that contribute to the transmission of the clinical and the thought of Winnicott.
