Abstract

DUNKER, Christian Ingo Lenz. About the psychoanalytical comprehension of paranoia. Mental [online]. 2003, vol.1, n.1, pp. 23-37. ISSN 1679-4427.

The article presents a short historic digression about the concept of paranoia elaborated by Kraeplin. It lists the clinical traces of the pathology, that were considered classic and examinated by Freud in his study about the president Schereber. Then, it presents a clinical case with the objective of showing how the psychoanalytical reference about paranoia continues present, but it has limitations when it comes to the distinction of schizophrenia. It sugests that the psychosis treatment must be oriented by the gradual inclusion and the delirium sustentation by the transferencial position and by the knowledge, that opens with the listening. It emphasizes that the psychotic listening is an important recourse in stabilization of these cases.
