In this article the place of the word in the institution is analyzed. From the teachings of Lacan it searchs a redefinition of the symptom, in the perspective of the psychosis, as well as the subjects of trieb and demand. It proposes the institution's concepts with the meaning of the discourse and inverts the relation between this concept and the citizen.
