TRAUTWEIN, Carmen T. G.  y  NEBIAS, Cleide. The school complaints according to those who never complain: the students. Mental [online]. 2006, vol.4, n.6, pp. 123-148. ISSN 1679-4427.

This article analyses the senses which students build on themselves when they are lead to psychological hearings due to school complaints or learning difficulties. This analysis is based on the social-historic concepts of Psychology. Regarding field research, a qualitative research had been carried out by means of interviews with students from public schools, ranging from eight to twelve years old, who had been brought to a given Basic Health Unit at the municipality of São Paulo. The collected data have been organized and presented in different meaning categories according to a pattern of constructive and interpretative connotation of three of the participants. On these basis, it was noticed that each of the participants (i) builds its own sense concerning its learning process, (ii) feels capable of learning and thinks in a prospective way, considering the school as the place where knowledge can be acquired, even in cases of schools which keep a non-interactive educative relationship with them.

Palabras clave : School complaints; Learning difficulties; Social interaction; Sense construction; Health and education.
