Abstract

BICHARA, Maria Auxiliadora Cordaro. The eye and the narrative: the instincts building stories. Mental [online]. 2006, vol.4, n.7, pp. 85-105. ISSN 1679-4427.

This article brings some articulations about instinct's theory, according to Freud's theory (self, unconscious and superego), enriched with clinical fragments. The look's instinct is analysed as a part of the subjectivity that holds profounds agonies and produces the instinct's separation and some other pathologies. The death's instinct is a radical interruption. It can drive to a epistemological search that recognizes the relation with the unknown. It help to find a new direction again, through new questions and new discoveries to the contemporaneous moral indisposition.
