A qualitative research with 16 professionals was realized in april and may in 2002. The analysis of the interviews tried to regard each professional's specific report, the group of reports of each health center and, later, the sample group. The analysis always considered the city's context. The data pointed to the professionals' difficulties in defining interdisciplinarity and to the consequent distortions such difficulty causes on the professionals' praxis.
