Abstract

OLIVEIRA, Marcella Pereira de. The fantasy in Melaine Klein and Lacan. Mental [online]. 2008, vol.6, n.11, pp. x-x. ISSN 1679-4427.

This article is concerned with the concept of fantasy in Klein’s and Lacan’s theories, emphasizing both these authors’ theories individually and related to one another, including similarities, disparities, and complementarities. The work is divided into four parts: the first one is an introduction to the theme, introducing the authors and their theories. The second is a critic review of Klein’s theorization on fantasies. The third one is a critic review of Lacan’s theories on the same theme. The fourth and last one presents a relationship between the theories. As work material, both Klein’s and Lacan’s theories and those of their followers were used in the role of commentators.

Keywords : Fantasy; Klein; Lacan; Disparities; Complementarities.
