Abstract

DOMINGUES, Margarete Aparecida  and  PARAVIDINI, João Luiz. The construction of therapeutic jobs in mental health. Mental [online]. 2009, vol.7, n.13, pp. x-x. ISSN 1679-4427.

In this paper, we intend to report the results of a Masters research on “the making of art” in therapeutic workshops, from the perspective of users and professionals in four cities of Minas Gerais. The work in the workshops can be seen as a pendulum. It can both lead the actors involved during the “making of art” to a paralysis, in a repetitive way (through what in Psychoanalysis is called repetition automatism), as well as to a production of creation, the new and the transgression, on the side of the differential repetition. The four parts of this work seek to review the course that was undergone. In the first part we provide details on how our interest in researching the topic emerged and we do the scrutinization of the trajectory we have gone through. Secondly we discuss the methodology used. In the third part we analyze and discuss the data obtained from the actors involved. And finally we present our last considerations.

Keywords : Therapeutic workshops; Making of art; Repetition.
