Resumen

ARAUJO, Lidiane da Silva  y  GUAZINA, Felix Miguel Nascimento. The caregivers' perception about offered care for children and adolescents in assistance on CAPSi. Mental [online]. 2017, vol.11, n.21, pp. 445-468. ISSN 1679-4427.

The Psychiatric Reform process was a movement of criticism to hospitalcentered model, and consolidated in creating care substitutive mental health services, with emphasis on territorialization of assistance. In this sense, the Psychosocial Care Centers for Childhood and Adolescence focus their actions in both the individual and the family of children and adolescents with severe mental disorders. Besides, this study aimed to elucidate the users' perception of caregivers about the service offered in one of this centers, in a city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Thus, a qualitative research of exploratory nature, made from semi-structured interviews with five caregivers of children served by the service was suggested. As for the results, it is observed that the drug via is one of the main care strategies cited by participants to the detriment of other service intervention modalities. Another point that stands out is the fragility of the support of caregivers network concerning the management and care in the family adaptation process from receipt of the diagnosis to the development of treatment.

Palabras clave : mental health; psychiatry reform; care; childhood; adolescence.
